This 110 year old school in the heart of uptown Waterloo exemplifies the essence of the JG Group’s craftsmanship and creativity. The preservation of this school structure resulted in its transformation into 22 state-of-the-art condominium suites. Solid and untouched, this complex has 30-inch exterior walls, 24-inch concrete floor slabs, 13-foot ceilings, 12-foot wide corridors, 8-foot high windows, and restored original flooring that create an unprecedented live-work environment. Located at the edge of Waterloo’s Westmount area, the light-filled interiors of the old school wed traditional integrity with modern luxuries. The extremely elaborate interior design confirms that the JG Group excels at even the most intricate projects. The very chic @lex, taken from the original school name Alexandra, is an award-winning complex within walking distance of parks, universities, shopping centres, the public library, a hospital and Waterloo’s business district.
