Wilfrid Laurier University worked very closely with JG Woodworking on a project that produced custom millwork and elaborate renovations throughout their library. Included in this project were reception desks, adjustable tables, a reference desk, shelving and other furniture specifically designed to make the most of non-standard study and service space. Also included were 1000 distinctive, practical, and user friendly study carrels. JG Woodworking was able to custom design the carrels to the University’s specifications, including six handicap work areas that were ergonomically designed by JG Woodworking’s engineering department. All carrels were fully equipped with electrical and IT connections. The praiseful comments from students, faculty and library staff is a testament to the JG Group’s meticulous attention to detail.
