Welcome to the JG Group of Companies where Our Business is Your Satisfaction. Established in 1979 and continually growing, the JG Group of Companies has three principle divisions: JG Custom Woodworking Inc., JG Contracting Ltd. and JG Warehousing Inc. Below is a brief synopsis of these divisions.
Woodworking
JG Custom Woodworking is a custom millwork division that has designed, developed, and delivered millwork solutions to hospitals, long-term healthcare facilities, casinos, hotels, banks, universities and leading retailers. Situated within a 100,000 sq. ft. facility with state of the art machinery, JG can provide customers with fully customized, researched, and engineered millwork solutions. This allows for complete control over the manufacturing and delivery of products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. JG Custom Woodworking is a proud member of the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC).
General Contracting
JG Contracting is JG's general contracting division and is known as the Waterloo Regions leading general contracting company with a heritage restoration focus. JG has been a very successful niche player in adaptive reuse projects and has repurposed buildings all across the Waterloo Region and beyond. From the creation of spectacular condominiums in Uptown Waterloo to the design-build student housing and workout facility in Downtown Brantford. JG has an award winning history in repurposing heritage sites well over 100 years old.
Warehousing
JG Warehousing is a leader in warehousing and distribution services, providing client-specific solutions to a broad range of manufacturing, retail, and consumer goods industries. We provide cost effective and customized storage solutions for a wide range of firms. Our facilities are conveniently located just minutes off Highway 401 and our facilities are extremely clean, secure and safe. With a 24-hour emergency access line JG is very well positioned to exceed our customer's expectations every time. JG Warehousing is dedicated to receiving, storing, and distributing our clients' products according to their exact requirements and instructions.
Long-Term Care
JG Custom Woodworking works with numerous partners in developing millwork solutions for hospitals and long-term healthcare facilities. In the past, we have worked closely with Siemens AG in delivering a complete millwork solution for Hospitals in and around the Waterloo Region. JG Custom Woodworking has designed, engineered, and developed millwork solutions for health services facilities in Kitchener, Waterloo, London, Hamilton, Mississauga and Toronto. Moreover, JG Custom Woodworking has designed millwork solutions for numerous long-term care and retirement facilities in Kitchener, Owen Sound, Whitby, and Etobicoke - most of which are Ministry of Health licensed facilities. The woodworking at some of these facilities has been recognized and nominated for awards by our peers at the Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) and other constructions associations.
